We had a delightful experience at Eden's Edge Lodge in the beautiful Abel Tasman area. The location was stunning, surrounded by gardens and a picturesque backdrop of mountains and forests. The rooms were clean and spacious, with nice bathrooms. The staff, especially Lisa, were friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable tips for exploring Abel Tasman National Park. The shared kitchen and lounge were well-equipped, and we enjoyed interacting with other guests. The breakfast was excellent and the price was fantastic. We highly recommend this lodge as a great introduction to New Zealand.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond for their guests. They even helped jumpstart our car! the communal kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, with a huge wooden table and plenty of cooking facilities. the breakfast served was absolutely delicious, with fresh pastries, homemade jams, and fresh eggs. the owners' love for the property was evident in the well-maintained grounds and the variety of plants. the location was great, with easy access to both Motueka and Abel Tasman. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!
We would have appreciated some forewarning about the spraying of the nearby orchards, as it made us concerned about the air quality. the power outlets in our room were on an auto-timer, which made it inconvenient to charge our devices overnight.

The communal facilities were great, especially the spacious kitchen and dining area. We were able to make ourselves a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and fruits, which was such a treat. the surrounding gardens were also lovely, providing a peaceful and beautiful environment.
The thin walls were a bit of an issue as we could hear our neighbors chatting non-stop from early in the morning. It made it difficult to sleep past a certain time, especially for someone like me who isn't a light sleeper.

The surroundings of the lodge were beautiful, with lush greenery and a well-maintained swimming pool. The communal kitchen was clean and well-equipped, with a good variety of dishes and utensils. the lounge area had a chess and checkers set, which my kids absolutely loved.
One morning, there was spraying happening in the nearby orchards without any prior warning, raising concerns about the air quality. Another inconvenience was the power outlet in our room, which had an auto-timer that turned off every hour.

The room was comfortable and clean with a huge, cozy bed. The self-serve breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs and fruit. The lodge also had a lovely garden for relaxation.
There were a few minor issues, such as thin walls in the rooms, but this was not a major problem as the other guests were considerate. The owners seemed a bit stressed upon our arrival, but it didn't impact our overall experience.
